Savannah’s ‘Love March to End Gun Violence’ set for this Saturday
SAVANNAH. Ga. (WSAV) – After a weekend of deadly shootings in Savannah, city aldermen are coming together to host a march to end gun violence. They say it’s a way to spread love in the city. City leaders are hoping this march can be a way to come closer to stopping the violence in Savannah.
City council members are sending a united message that gun violence has to end in Savannah’s communities.

Family remembers mother, daughter who died after vehicle submerged in pond
CHATHAM COUNTY, Ga. (WSAV) – Two people are dead after being pulled from a vehicle submerged in a pond near Montgomery Cross Road and Truman Parkway Sunday, according to the Chatham County Police Department.
CCPD identified the victims as 38-year-old Crystal Eve Reynolds and her daughter, 16-year-old Ijenae Christiana Reynolds. Family members say says the two were close.

14, including university dean, arrested in Georgia online child sex sting
VALDOSTA, Ga. (WSAV) – The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) arrested 14 people, including a university dean, in a sting operation targeting child predators and child traffickers.
The Georgia Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force coordinated with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation’s Child Exploitation and Computer Crimes Unit (CEACC), the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office, and the Southern Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office during the investigation.
